It all started in 1946 in Hapeville, Georgia, when Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, Dwarf Grill. After inventing their boneless breast of chicken sandwich, Mr. Cathy founded Chick-fil-A in the early 1960's and opened the first Chick-fil-A Restaurant at a mall in suburban Atlanta in 1967. It has since grown into a multi-billion dollar chain that is still privately held and family owned. Chick-fil-A opened in Branson, MO in March 2015 and has enjoyed a consistent flow of customers ready to munch on their scrumptious chicken dishes. Note: All Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays, so be sure to make plans to enjoy Chick-fil-A one of the other days of the week.

Chick-fil-A does not disappoint for succulent chicken! The original with waffle fries is my favorite, but the grilled nuggets and salad is good as well. I make excuses to go to that part of Branson around lunch time so I can get Chick-fil-A!
